Made to the same exacting standards as our bespoke garments, this beautiful coat is available on a made-to-measure basis – you simply provide the measurements we request and the coat arrives with you in 8-10 weeks ready to wear.
Featuring a 2-piece collar for a dramatic ‘pop’, every detail has been carefully thought through over the past six months by Mr Healy jnr in an attempt to create something timeless and elegant, but also statement enough to provoke admiring comments and attention.
Made from a 19oz Merino Lambswool twill by Abraham Moon, the coat is soft to the touch with incredible heat-retention properties but also cool enough to wear as the weather turns a little warmer. The styling is incredibly versatile to allow it to be worn formally or casually, perhaps open over a suit to allow that beautiful drape when walking to work, or fastened to the waist over denim and knitwear with that stunning collar popped up for effect.
As is traditional, the peacoat can be fastened right to the collar on those colder mornings – this is a detail that is largely forgotton on high-street peacoats. This allows for a more formal look resembling that of a car coat.
Finished with meticulously hand-sewn silk buttonholes, hand-shanked horn buttons and a beautiful iridescent lining, no aspect has been overlooked or skimped on – it is a garment that will stand the test of time both in terms of styling and quality.
Two pattern-matched, welted hand warmer pockets adorn the outside of the coat, whereas the internal pocket configuration can be specified as being left or right-hand oriented, with two full size in-breast pockets as standard, and a pen pocket and ticket pocket on the right or left as requested.
The finishing touch is your name embroidered on the internal facing of the coat, as is considered traditional on any tailored garment.
